Keeping Senior Living at Home
Finding the right care for elderly loved ones is challenging. You want the best for them, but you might be overwhelmed by the options, the costs, and making the right choices. Many people have the mindset that institutionalized care such as a senior living facility or nursing home is inevitable, even if it goes against your loved one’s wishes.
In the midst of major life transitions, investing in senior home care allows your loved one to maintain a sense of security, familiarity, and dignity.

Our Caregiver Matching Process
Inviting someone into your home is a deeply personal decision. That’s why we take our caregiver matching process seriously. Your loved one deserves a family caregiver, someone who consistently shows up and provides compassionate service.
Here’s a peek inside our caregiver matching process:
01
In-Home
Assessment
We begin with a comprehensive conversation and in-home assessment. We take time to understand health needs, daily routines, mobility concerns, cognitive changes, personality, and preferences. Every detail helps us design a care plan tailored specifically to your loved one.
02
Thoughtful Caregiver
Matching
Next, we carefully select a caregiver whose experience, temperament, and skill set align with your family’s unique situation. We consider not only care needs and skills, but also compatibility because trust and comfort matter just as much as credentials.
03
Ongoing Support & Consistency
Once care begins, we prioritize consistent assignments so familiar faces become trusted relationships. Our team stays involved with ongoing communication and supervision to ensure the care plan continues to meet evolving needs.
Our goal is to build a dependable partnership that gives your family confidence and peace of mind.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is in-home care?
In-home care provides seniors with one-on-one care and assistance in the comfort of home. Home care includes assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care. Additionally, home care services include meal preparation, shopping, transportation, laundry, medication reminders and light housekeeping. With one-on-one care, seniors receive the highest level of personal attention, and can engage in social, cognitive, and physical activities. For seniors who wish to stay in their homes, in-home care can be a great option to help ensure health, safety, and quality of life.
Who pays for in-home care?
Home care generally is a private-pay service. Many of our clients use long-term care insurance benefits to help cover the cost of in-home care. Home care is not covered by Medicare and other health insurance because home care services are non-medical. Medicare pays for home health care, such as physical therapy, nurse visits, and hospice care. These services are available in the home, however, must be determined medically necessary and be ordered by a physician based on eligibility criteria. The Veterans Administration offers an income-based home care benefit through its Aid and Attendance Program.
How much does in-home care cost?
The answer no one wants to hear, “It depends.” Home care is typically an hourly service, so it depends on the level of care needed and the hours needed to provide that care. Any senior care has a cost, whether it’s assisted living, nursing home, or home care. In most cases, home care can be less expensive than nursing home care. It’s best to interview agencies and discuss your loved one’s needs and let each company make a professional recommendation and provide an estimate. You can expect to pay from a few hundred dollars a week to a few thousand dollars a week for 24/7 care.
How is a caregiver selected for my loved one?
One of the reasons we earn high client satisfaction ratings is our ability to match clients and caregivers. After our initial meeting and assessment with you and your loved one, your Care Manager will have an excellent idea of the level of care needed and the type of personality that would be a good fit. At that point, we go through a matching process to help ensure the very best fit. Nearly 100% of the time, we are right on target with our “matchmaking” skills. However, anytime during the relationship that the client wants to change caregivers — for any reason — we willingly do so.
